A growing life sciences organization is seeking a Quality Assurance professional with a strong microbiology background to support GMP manufacturing and quality operations. This individual will serve as a key quality partner across the site, providing QA oversight for microbiology programs, environmental monitoring, investigations, and quality systems activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide QA support for microbiology and environmental monitoring programs
- Lead and support deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and change controls
- Review and approve quality documentation, SOPs, and GMP records
- Monitor compliance with cGMP regulations and internal quality standards
- Support audit and inspection readiness activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related life sciences field
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or QC Microbiology within a GMP-regulated environment
- Strong understanding of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and contamination control
- Experience with investigations, CAPAs, deviations, and quality systems
- Knowledge of FDA and cGMP requirements
