Polymer Processing Technician
Contract: 12 months (potential to extend)
Location: Longford
Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week (on-site)

About the Role:
Join a leading manufacturing team as a Polymer Processing Technician, where you'll play a key role in setting up and operating polymer processing lines, primarily in Injection Moulding. You'll work closely with Production, Technical, and Quality teams to ensure efficient operations and compliance with all safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical skills and a passion for precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate polymer processing lines efficiently.
  • Apply technical knowledge of polymer materials and processing parameters.
  • Collaborate with managers, team leaders, and toolroom personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with quality and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work a 4-cycle shift system.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Minimum 5 O6 grades in Leaving Certificate, including Maths (H7/O6/F2) and English/Irish (O6/H7).
  • Completed Polymer Technology Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with attention to detail.
