A top-tier medical communications agency specializing in publications and medical affairs is looking for a Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer to join their team! Their mission is to deliver high-quality content, white-glove service, and harvest a collaborative, no-big-ego's environment. They work with leading pharmaceutical and biotech clients across a range of therapeutic areas.

Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality scientific content including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and medical affairs materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external authors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with publication strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, journal guidelines, and client expectations.
  • Work across a range of accounts/clients.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in a life sciences field (required).
  • 1-4 years of experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar setting.
  • Publications writing experience is required (e.g., manuscripts, abstracts, posters).
  • Experience in CNS (central nervous system) therapeutic area is a plus but not required.
  • Strong understanding of scientific and clinical research, data interpretation, and publication processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be open to a hybrid work arrangement based in Connecticut.
