Maintenance Technician - Life Sciences Manufacturing
EPM are working with a pioneering organisation in the life sciences sector to find a skilled Maintenance Technician who thrives in a hands-on, regulated environment. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting critical operations in cleanrooms and laboratories, perfect for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and keeping systems running at peak performance.
The Role
You'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Your day-to-day will include:
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance and responding to equipment issues
- Overseeing third-party contractors for calibration and servicing
- Diagnosing faults and implementing timely fixes
- Supporting facility-wide maintenance activities and emergency response
- Identifying risks and contributing to process improvements
This role is essential to maintaining compliance and operational efficiency in a highly regulated setting.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with people who bring:
- A technical qualification (e.g., MBO Level 3/4 or equivalent)
- Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices
- Understanding of GMP standards and technical documentation
- Ability to read technical drawings and use maintenance software
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a bonus)
