Maintenance & Reliability Programme Lead

We are supporting a global pharmaceutical organisation looking for a senior Maintenance & Reliability Programme Lead to design and implement a standardised maintenance and reliability programme across multiple manufacturing sites.

The successful candidate will initially assess three sites, develop site-specific improvement plans and lead a pilot implementation in Romania. The programme will then provide a framework that can be replicated across additional sites globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess existing maintenance and reliability processes across three pharmaceutical manufacturing sites
  • Design and deliver a structured maintenance and asset reliability programme
  • Develop improvement plans and implementation roadmaps for each site
  • Lead the pilot programme at the Romanian manufacturing site
  • Develop and optimise preventive / planned maintenance (PPM) processes
  • Support implementation and optimisation of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Establish maintenance standards, processes and KPIs that can be replicated across multiple sites
  • Deliver training, coaching and knowledge transfer to local engineering and maintenance teams
  • Work closely with site and global engineering leadership to drive sustainable improvements

Profile

  • Extensive maintenance/reliability experience within pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing
  • Proven experience designing and implementing maintenance or reliability programmes, rather than solely operating existing processes
  • Strong knowledge of PPM, CMMS, asset reliability and maintenance excellence
  • Previous multisite or global programme rollout experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, training and knowledge-transfer skills
  • Comfortable combining strategic programme design with hands-on site assessment and implementation
