Key Account Manager (m/f/d) - Medical Technology (Northern Germany, Remote)

The Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing and developing strategic accounts across Northern Germany. You will play a critical role in building long-term partnerships with hospitals and healthcare networks, ensuring access to innovative therapies and delivering sustainable business growth.

You will operate in a complex, fast-moving environment, working cross-functionally with clinical specialists, marketing, and customer support teams to successfully execute commercial strategies and deliver value to customers.

This is a remote role, with your home acting as your primary workplace, alongside regular travel within the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including clinicians, procurement and hospital management
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing and target accounts
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across clinical and commercial functions
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver an integrated go-to-market strategy
  • Utilise CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecasting and account activity
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to inform strategy
  • Deliver a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction through a solution-oriented approach

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management within medical devices or the wider healthcare sector
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth in a competitive, evolving market
  • Experience selling into hospital environments and managing complex stakeholder groups
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strategic mindset with a structured, results-driven approach
  • Strong CRM and pipeline management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel across the assigned territory
