Design System Architecture & AI-Driven Interface UX/UI Design

We are supporting a global pharmaceutical client on a project focused on the design and architecture of modern digital products and AI-enabled applications. We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or Design Systems Specialist with strong expertise in Figma, design systems, user experience architecture, prototyping, and AI-driven interface design.
The successful consultant will be responsible for designing and maintaining a scalable design system that supports consistency across desktop and mobile applications. This includes creating reusable component libraries, establishing design tokens, documenting UI patterns, and ensuring accessibility compliance through WCAG standards. The consultant will work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure design solutions are both visually compelling and technically feasible.
A key focus of the project is the design of intuitive user experiences for AI-powered applications. Candidates should have experience designing conversational interfaces, AI interaction flows, prompt-based user experiences, AI output dashboards, and data-heavy application interfaces. The role requires the ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive and engaging user experiences while maintaining consistency across the broader product portfolio.
The consultant will also be responsible for developing user journeys, wire-frames, site maps, and interactive prototypes in Figma. Experience delivering both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes and translating business requirements into user-centric interfaces is essential. Candidates should be comfortable presenting design concepts, validating user experiences, and iterating designs based on stakeholder feedback.
In addition, the role requires ownership of developer hand off activities. The successful candidate will prepare production-ready design packages, asset libraries, layout specifications, and front end implementation guidance. Close collaboration with software engineers and front-end developers will be necessary to ensure accurate implementation and visual consistency across delivered products.
