We are seeking a motivated Head of Analytical Chemistry to join our R&D team and play a key role in the development of innovative products. In this role, you will lead the Analytical Chemistry Department, which is responsible for developing and qualifying analytical methods to evaluate new products. You will ensure that analytical milestones and deliverables are met according to project planning and budget, and at a quality level that is fit-for-purpose.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all staff within the Analytical Chemistry Department.
- Oversee analytical method development, qualification, and/or validation.
- Plan and execute activities in line with project timelines; interpret and report results.
- Serve as Head of Quality Control as outlined in cGMP Chapter 2.
- Ensure the quality of analytical source documents for regulatory submissions.
- Review and approve protocols, reports, and departmental procedures.
- Manage the department's CAPEX and OPEX budgets; advise on purchases and asset management.
- Promote safe working practices and implement EHS elements.
What You Bring
- MSc or PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of industrial experience in analytical development for biotech/pharma injectables (preferred), medical devices, or biomaterials.
- Experience with QC and/or GMP.
- Familiarity with matrix organizations and international multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in authoring regulatory quality documents.
- A results-oriented, flexible, and team-focused mindset.
- Strong coaching skills, including technical guidance.

You'll work closely with the Team Leader Analytical Chemistry, Project Managers, Head of Process & Formulation, and the QA Manager, and report to the Head of R&D.
