Global Product Manager (f/m/d) - Lubricants

Our client is a well-established international specialty chemicals company with a strong presence across Europe, North America, and Asia. As part of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Global Product Manager (f/m/d) - Lubricants to drive product strategy, supplier development, and commercial growth on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global product strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Identify new product opportunities and evaluate potential supplier partnerships.
  • Lead and coordinate purchasing activities across international business units, including supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Manage and grow key global customer relationships within the lubricants sector.
  • Conduct market, industry, and competitor analyses to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant industry and regional requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer events worldwide.
  • Support business expansion initiatives across international markets, with a particular focus on Asia.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree or professional qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related technical/commercial discipline.
  • Several years of experience within the chemical industry, ideally in lubricants, additives, specialty chemicals, or related markets.
  • Proven experience in product management, business development, technical sales, or commercial leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, purchasing, and contract management skills.
  • Experience managing international supplier and customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Asian markets, including customers, suppliers, distribution partners, or commercial operations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and the ability to work effectively across global teams.
  • Fluent English skills; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
