Position: Global Medical Affairs Consultant
Location: Euorpe, Remote
Start Date: May/June (Flexible)
Contract Type: Freelance/Consulting - 0.75 FTE, 12 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Lead the development of global medical strategies across the asset lifecycle-from early development to post-launch-ensuring alignment with brand goals and scientific excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Engage with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Patient Engagement, RWE, Legal, and Digital to integrate medical insights into strategic planning.
Medical Narrative & Evidence Generation:
Develop the medical narrative to guide evidence generation and communication strategies. Support publication planning and data dissemination.
Study Design & Oversight:
Provide strategic input and oversight for Phase IV trials, Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), and Early Access Programs (EAPs).
Medical Communications:
Guide the creation of scientific content and ensure consistency across global medical communication platforms.
Advisory Engagement:
Plan and execute advisory boards, expert panels, and roundtables. Represent the company in scientific forums and patient engagement initiatives.
Competitive Intelligence:
Conduct medical landscape assessments, scenario planning, and competitive simulations to inform strategic decisions.
Health Economics & Access:
Contribute to the development of pharmacoeconomic value propositions and early access strategies for patients with unmet needs.
Global-Local Alignment:
Support regional and local medical teams in aligning their strategies with global objectives, including resource planning and launch readiness.
Insight Generation:
Collaborate with Key External Experts (KEEs) to gather insights that inform clinical development and brand strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Global Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of drug development, commercialization, and regulatory environments.
- Expertise in study design, data interpretation, and evidence generation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Experience in competitive intelligence and strategic planning is highly desirable.
