About the Opportunity

EPM Scientific is partnered with an innovative, high-growth medical device company seeking a Field Clinical Specialist to support commercial expansion across the Northeast United States. This individual will serve as the primary clinical resource for physicians, hospital staff, and internal stakeholders, providing procedural support, education, and clinical expertise throughout the customer journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical professional with prior experience supporting complex cardiovascular procedures, particularly within the structural heart space, who is looking to join a rapidly growing organization and contribute to the adoption of a novel technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site clinical and technical support during procedures at customer accounts throughout the assigned territory
  • Deliver physician and staff training programs to ensure safe and effective product utilization
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Affairs teams to drive successful product adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Support case planning and procedural workflow optimization
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, cath lab teams, and key hospital stakeholders
  • Act as a subject matter expert for product-related clinical questions and troubleshooting
  • Gather customer feedback and relay market insights to internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Support regional educational events, physician training programs, and conferences as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare-related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of field clinical experience within the medical device industry
  • Prior experience supporting Structural Heart procedures strongly preferred
  • Experience working within cardiac catheterization labs, hybrid ORs, or cardiovascular procedural environments
  • Strong understanding of physician education, procedural support, and customer training
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel extensively (~60%) throughout the Northeast territory

  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
  • Transcatheter Mitral or Tricuspid Therapies
  • Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC)
  • Structural Heart Imaging and Procedural Guidance
