About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Process Development Engineer to join our team in Galway on a 12-month full-time contract. This role is focused on developing and validating electrical manufacturing processes for advanced medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise electrical processes for medical device manufacturing.
- Conduct electrical testing and support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Analyse process data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Support validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ and regulatory documentation.
- Perform EPROM testing and ensure robust integration into device workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with electrical testing, automation, or data analysis.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, or other test development tools.
- Strong understanding of EPROMs and EPROM testing methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively across engineering and manufacturing functions.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and validation protocols (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA).
