A well‑established UK‑based organisation is seeking a proactive and customer‑focused Customer Service Specialist to join its collaborative Customer Service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working cross‑functionally, and making a tangible difference to customers on a daily basis.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing clear communication, efficient processes, and high‑quality support. You will help deliver a seamless customer journey from initial enquiry through to order completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering closely with Sales Engineers and Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships
  • Supporting customer onboarding and promoting the use of digital tools and e‑commerce platforms
  • Preparing customer quotations in collaboration with field sales teams and suppliers
  • Managing the full order lifecycle, from order creation through to invoicing
  • Handling credits, returns, claims, and escalations in line with internal procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date customer records and internal systems
  • Supporting procurement activities, including purchase orders and supplier follow‑up
  • Following up on receivables and ensuring CRM and ERP data accuracy
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, internal controls, and sustainability objectives
  • Assisting with local warehousing tasks, including picking, packing, and dispatching orders when required

  • Detail‑focused with a high level of administrative accuracy

Working Arrangement

The role requires full on‑site attendance during the initial probationary period, with hybrid working available thereafter.
