Consultant - Dental Implant Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician Consultant with deep expertise in Titanium surface treatment for dental implants. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, advising, and optimizing surface treatment protocols to achieve industry-leading osseointegration performance. This role requires hands-on experience with SLA (sandblasted, large grit, acid-etched) surfaces and other advanced surface modification techniques.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop surface treatment protocols for Titanium dental implants, matching or exceeding the standards of top global producers.
  • Provide expert consultation on chemical and electrochemical surface modification techniques.
  • Lead or support experimental design and process validation for surface treatments including sandblasting, acid etching, anodization, and other proprietary methods.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure regulatory compliance and process reproducibility.
  • Evaluate and recommend best-in-class surface types for optimal osseointegration based on current scientific and clinical evidence.
  • Document and standardize procedures, ensuring scalability and consistency in production environments.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials science advancements, and competitive technologies.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a dental implant company, directly involved in surface treatment processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Titanium surface chemistry, topography, and biocompatibility.
  • Hands-on expertise with SLA, acid etching, and electrochemical treatments.
  • Strong understanding of implant osseointegration and how surface properties influence biological response.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, chemical handling, and safety standards.
  • Ability to design and interpret surface characterization tests (e.g., SEM, XPS, roughness measurements).
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with ISO 13485, FDA, or MDR regulatory environments.
  • Knowledge of coating technologies, plasma treatments, or nanostructuring is a plus.
