The organisation is a fast-growing, innovation-driven Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in early-stage drug discovery. Our mission is to accelerate the development of life-changing therapies by providing world-class scientific services to biotech and pharmaceutical companies across the globe.
We are now looking to expand our commercial team with a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager in Europe.
As Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy. You'll identify, engage, and secure new clients while nurturing long-term relationships with existing partners. Your scientific understanding and commercial acumen will enable you to communicate complex solutions and tailor the offerings to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a robust business development strategy across the European market.
Identify and approach potential clients in the biotech and pharma sectors.
Build strong relationships with decision-makers and KOLs.
Promote our full suite of drug discovery services.
Attend conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
Collaborate closely with scientific and project management teams to deliver proposals and close deals.
Maintain a CRM and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field (PhD is a plus).
Proven track record (3-7+ years) in BD or sales within a CRO Drug Discovery background.
Strong network in biotech/pharma across Europe.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Based in Europe, with Flexiblity to travel.
