An innovative, venture-backed AI and life sciences company is seeking an experienced AI Product Lead to help build and scale a next-generation AI platform designed for drug discovery teams.
This is a rare opportunity to shape products that sit at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biomedical data, and scientific reasoning. Working directly with executive leadership, researchers, engineers, and industry partners, you will define how advanced AI systems are adopted across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and translational research organizations.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a product leader who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and wants to help define the future of AI-native research tools.
You'll take ownership of an emerging AI platform designed to help scientists interact with complex biological data, generate insights, evaluate hypotheses, and accelerate drug discovery workflows. You'll work closely with AI researchers, computational biologists, engineers, and customers to transform cutting-edge capabilities into products adopted by leading biotech and pharmaceutical organizations.

What You'll Do
- Define product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for an AI-driven scientific platform
- Partner closely with AI researchers, computational biologists, and engineering teams to translate emerging capabilities into real-world products
- Work directly with biotech and pharmaceutical customers to understand research workflows and unmet needs
- Shape AI experiences supporting biological reasoning, target discovery, knowledge synthesis, and scientific decision-making
- Drive customer adoption, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy
- Influence the build-out of a world-class AI product organization
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to define long-term product strategy and company growth
What We're Looking For
Required
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with significant exposure to life sciences or scientific software products
- Strong background in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Drug Discovery, Biomedical Research, or related scientific domains
- Demonstrated experience building products used by scientists, researchers, or technical domain experts
- Deep understanding of modern AI systems, foundation models, agents, and the evolving LLM ecosystem
- Experience taking complex technical products from concept to market
- Ability to communicate effectively across scientific, engineering, and business stakeholders
Highly Desired
- Experience building AI-native products for drug discovery, biomedical research, or scientific knowledge work
- Familiarity with AI copilots, AI agents, or AI scientist systems
- Experience commercializing products built on large-scale biological, molecular, or multimodal datasets
- Track record working with pharmaceutical or biotechnology customers
- Open-source contributions or leadership within AI-for-science communities
