Location: London or surrounding areas (Hybrid, with travel to clients 3 days per week)
A leading diagnostics organisation is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their expanding UK commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with innovative diagnostic technologies while driving meaningful impact across healthcare providers in London and surrounding regions.
About the Role
In this position, you will manage and grow key customer relationships across hospitals, laboratories, and pathology networks. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities while nurturing long‑term partnerships - requiring a balanced hunter-farmer mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical and laboratory stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within diagnostics.
- Provide scientific and product expertise across cellular pathology/histology solutions.
- Manage the full commercial cycle and coordinate cross‑functional support as needed.
- Travel to client sites approximately 3 days per week.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in Sales role
- Background in diagnostics
- Experience cellular pathology or histologywould be a bonus
- Based in London or commutable surrounding areas.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Sales experience is a bonus but not mandatory - strong commercial awareness and proactive mindset are key.
- Natural blend of hunter (driving new business) and farmer (growing existing accounts) characteristics.
