Location: Philadelphia, PA OR Boston, MA

Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite

EPM is partnered with a growing, midsize pharma team on the search for an Executive Director, US HCP Marketing. If you thrive in a growing, fast-pace environment and are energized by the opportunity to define a function, this could be an excellent next step. This individual will manage multiple headcount and own the responsibility for HCP Marketing tactics and execution here in the United States. This opportunity is hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in either Philadelphia or Boston.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead HCP marketing strategy and brand planning, leveraging market insights, customer analytics, and competitive intelligence to drive differentiated positioning, maximize engagement, and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
  • Campaign & Content Development: Develop and execute compliant, data-driven promotional strategies and omnichannel content that enhance HCP engagement, strengthen brand performance, and support commercial objectives.
  • KOL & Congress Strategy: Build and execute key opinion leader engagement and congress strategies, partnering cross-functionally to increase scientific visibility, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and elevate brand presence.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales and training teams to equip field organizations with impactful tools, resources, and messaging that improve customer interactions and drive business results.
  • Omnichannel & Customer Engagement: Lead personalized, analytics-driven engagement strategies across digital and non-personal channels, using performance insights to optimize customer experience and marketing effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across commercial, medical, market access, patient support, regulatory, and compliance functions to ensure alignment, consistency, and successful execution of brand strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Operations: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams while overseeing budgets, external partners, operational planning, and executive reporting to deliver strategic and financial objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 18+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience with significant HCP-focused brand leadership experience.
  • Proven success driving strategy and growth for specialty, high-value, or rapidly growing brands.
  • Deep understanding of regulated healthcare marketing environments and compliant promotional practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience partnering across commercial, medical, market access, and compliance functions.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive presentation abilities.
  • Proven track record influencing stakeholders, driving alignment, and leading through complexity.
  • Experience within specialty therapeutic areas and/or launch, growth-stage, or mature brands preferred.
