The Opportunity
We are working with a pharmaceutical organisation seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support end‑to‑end product supply in a highly regulated GMP environment. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted supply across manufacturing, CMOs, and distribution while balancing service level, cost, and compliance.
This position would suit someone with hands‑on pharmaceutical supply chain experience who enjoys operating in complex, fast‑moving environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end supply planning for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
- Translate demand forecasts into robust, executable supply plans
- Act as the key supply chain interface with internal manufacturing sites and external CMOs
- Monitor inventory levels, lead times, service levels, and supply risks
- Drive mitigation plans to avoid stock‑outs or excess/obsolete inventory
- Partner closely with Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams
- Ensure full compliance with GMP/GDP and internal SOPs
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements relating to supply chain activities
- Track KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy
- Support continuous improvement and digital supply chain initiatives (ERP / SAP / Planning Tools)
Experience & Profile
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences supply chain roles
- Strong background in supply planning, operations, or manufacturing supply chain
- Experience working in regulated GMP/GDP environments essential
- Hands‑on experience with ERP/planning tools (SAP preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to manage competing priorities and operate under pressure
- Experience working with CMOs highly advantageous
