Location: Remote [must be based in California - occasional travel to headquarters in Shanghai]
Company Summary: A clinical stage biotech harnessing best-in-class siRNA therapeutics is growing their US clinical team as their studies in US, AUS, and China continue to progress.
Key Responsibilities: You will lead global clinical programs (Phase I-III) across US, China, and Australia. This person will be responsible for the cross functional integration of teams (clinical, regulatory, CMC, operations, etc.) in order to drive execution from preclinical through clinical development.
The Opportunity: Join as an experienced and driven individual contributor who reports directly into the CMO (based in CA). Drive execution from preclinical through clinical development in the cardiovascular, metabolic, and obesity programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Execution: Manage global timelines, budgets, and quality for clinical trials; coordinate CROs, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Alignment: Bridge clinical development with corporate functions to prioritize resources and deliver key data (preclinical, clinical, competitive analysis) for strategy/BD.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively resolve cross-functional risks (enrollment, data integrity, compliance).
- Operational Scalability: Build standardized processes, digital tools (CTMS/EDC), and training to harmonize US-China workflows
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in biopharma project management
- 5+ years global program leadership with CRO management required
- 3+ years of cardiovascular, metabolic, and/or obesity expertise preferred
- Fluent English + Chinese (business/technical level)
- Thrive in matrixed, cross cultural environments; drive operational rigor in fast-paced settings.
