This role sits within the growing Nutraceuticals division and focuses on strengthening market presence with key manufacturers across Europe.
Your Tasks
- Drive sales growth for nutraceutical raw materials and active ingredients across dietary supplement, functional food, and nutrition manufacturers.
- Develop and execute regional sales and product strategies for assigned portfolios.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, producers, and distribution partners.
- Identify new business opportunities, conduct market analysis, and expand product positioning in targeted applications.
- Provide technical guidance on product characteristics, applications, and regulatory considerations.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Manage pricing, quotations, contract negotiations, and margin optimisation.
- Support supplier relationships and contribute to strategic sourcing and portfolio development.
- Represent the organisation at industry fairs, conferences, and customer visits.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience in nutraceuticals, food ingredients, life sciences, or chemical raw materials.
- Strong understanding of dietary supplement manufacturing, formulation processes, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Background in B2B technical sales or product management within ingredients or chemicals.
- Experience managing both new business development and existing key accounts.
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical and commercial solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and a hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
- Fluent in English & German is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 30-40%).
