Process Development Engineer

We have a current opportunity for a Process Development Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in Marlborough. For further information about this position please apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Development of drug delivery systems, ensuring adherence to all process steps, batch uniformity, and quality standards, while reporting into the Technical Lead.
  • Apply techniques such as emulsion-solvent-evaporation or similar in the production of drug delivery formulations.
  • Manage development activities, including material preparation, formulation, bead manufacturing, and post-manufacturing processing, in alignment with project requirements.
  • Oversee critical process steps, such as product formation, process operations, and managing quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to support analytical testing and confirm product specifications and compliance.
  • Ensure all processes are conducted following GLP and GMP-equivalent standards.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and optimise manufacturing processes to meet production goals, in collaboration with the Technical Lead.
  • Document and track all manufacturing activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
  • Support Tech Transfer operations internally and externally.
