Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
A global biopharmaceutical company focused on hematology-oncology and neurology is seeking an operationally minded Medical Affairs educator for a leadership position on its US team. The Director will manage a team to deliver an effective scientific curriculum and digital training platform, working with leadership to advance organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a scientific training curriculum for onboarding and continuing education of the Medical Affairs department, including field medical teams.
- Meet regularly with leadership to align the strategy and content of the curriculum with departmental priorities. Define and track KPIs to assess effectiveness of trainings.
- Onboard MSLs on relevant scientific education relating to their therapeutic area.
- Create and deliver trainings to the department on updated clinical evidence and recent publications.
- Maintain an updated digital education platform.
- Contribute to organizational resource allocation, tactical planning, and long-term strategy.
- Manage 1-2 direct reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced medical/scientific degree (PhD, MD, PharmD)
- 5+ years of experience in a Medical Affairs training position
- Expertise in oncology; hematology-oncology strongly preferred
- Travel up to 20%
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary of $250,000 - $270,000
- 20-25% annual bonus
