A leading medical device company in Belgium is seeking a Data Systems Specialist for a 6-month contract. This role supports clinical data management activities, with a focus on electronic data capture (EDC) systems and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain clinical trial databases using Medidata Rave.
- Ensure data systems comply with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Support internal and external audits with subject matter expertise.
- Collaborate with study teams, vendors, and site staff to manage data transfers.
- Design, test, and deploy EDC systems and user interfaces.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage database migrations.
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization of EDC design.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Medidata Rave; knowledge of C#/SQL for custom functions is a plus.
- Strong understanding of clinical data management and regulatory standards.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
