As a Clinical Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, delivering expert clinical support during procedures, training medical teams, and ensuring optimal use of advanced therapies. You will play a critical role in driving adoption of innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Case Coverage
- Provide on-site clinical support during procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of devices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to physicians and cath lab teams, offering guidance and troubleshooting during interventions.
Training & Education
- Deliver comprehensive product training to healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians.
- Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and hands-on sessions to enhance user proficiency.
Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and clinics, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Serve as the go-to resource for clinical inquiries and best practices.
Market Development
- Support the commercial team in identifying new opportunities and expanding product adoption.
- Participate in congresses, symposia, and scientific meetings to represent the company and engage with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory and company standards.
- Document clinical activities, feedback, and outcomes to inform product development and strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in medicine, nursing, biomedical engineering, or related field.
- Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonary medicine, or interventional procedures is highly desirable.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical acumen with the ability to support complex procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English (and local language as required).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, ideally in a clinical or technical support role.
- Familiarity with cath lab environments and interventional cardiology or pulmonary procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively for case support and training.
