- Develop a deep understanding of the company's preclinical research, biologics development programs, gene‑engineered animal models, and full CDMO service offerings to confidently communicate value to biotech and pharma partners
- Identify, qualify, and build strong relationships with prospective clients across the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, maintaining a healthy and active pipeline
- Manage the full business development cycle, including outreach, needs assessment, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure
- Represent the company at industry conferences, partnering events, scientific meetings, and trade shows to expand visibility, generate new leads, and strengthen brand presence
- Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, R&D, Program Management, Operations, and Leadership to align on client needs, ensure smooth handoffs, and support overall project success
- Provide meaningful customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to help shape commercial strategy, refine service offerings, and identify emerging areas of opportunity
- Serve as a scientific subject matter expert during client interactions, using your hands‑on research background to provide technical context, answer scientific questions, and support the sales process
