Account Representative - Europe
The Opportunity
A fast-growing life sciences company specialising in nucleic acid purification and sample prep is expanding its commercial team as demand for its technologies continues to accelerate across molecular diagnostics and genomics. They are now investing in an Account Representative to drive growth, strengthen key customer relationships, and capitalise on increasing market traction
The Role
The Account Representative will focus sales efforts on United Kingdom, Germany, France and Benelux regions but occasional travel to other areas of Europe will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and execute sales strategy, sales plans, to achieve quarterly and annual goals
- Maintain and continuously expand customer base with emphasis on major accounts
- Communicate feedback to management on trends in market
- Communicate major customer information, revenue target progress, and product forecasts with accuracy and on a regular basis
- Attend local and national tradeshows
- Create customer pricing strategies
- Deliver technical presentations on products to customers
- Ensure accurate information is presented to the customer in regarding product specifications and company information
- Effectively manage time to deliver optimal territory results
- Follow and establish company SOP and ISO guidelines
About You
- BS Degree in life science area
- Minimum of 3 years proven sales experience or similar experience
- Experience or knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, microarrays and NGS
- Able to lift 30 lbs and occasionally stand for long periods of time (such as at trade shows)
