Job Title: R&D Director - Pacemaker Program

Position Summary: The R&D Director will oversee the research and development activities related to our pacemaker program. This role requires a deep understanding of cardiac devices, particularly pacemakers, and a proven track record in leading R&D teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the R&D team in the development and enhancement of pacemaker technology.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the pacemaker program, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the R&D department.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical device R&D, with a focus on pacemakers or cardiac devices.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing R&D teams and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO) and quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
