Medical Science Liaison Manager - Regional Role (m/f/d)
Location: North West Region, Germany
A strategic role focused on scientific engagement and medical project support for an innovative treatment in the infectious diseases specialty care area.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with key external experts (KEEs), offering scientific support, especially during new product launches in hospital settings.
- Collaborate across Medical Affairs functions to ensure alignment and impact.
- Identify and continuously support KEEs in the relevant therapeutic area, serving as the primary contact for scientific exchange.
- Conduct research on healthcare structures and clinical guidelines to support product launch planning.
- Perform literature reviews and attend scientific congresses, reporting insights and monitoring competitor activity.
- Deliver scientific presentations to healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and other stakeholders; contribute to internal and external educational sessions.
- Participate in expert meetings and speaker training events at both national and regional levels.
- Support regional implementation of clinical projects, including investigator-initiated trials (IITs), non-interventional studies (NIS), and registry studies.
Qualifications
- Degree in medicine, life sciences, or pharmacy; a doctorate is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and internationally.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Medical Science Liaison role.
- Experience in infectious diseases, intensive care, oncology, specialty care, or haemato-oncology is advantageous.
- Strong customer orientation and professional demeanor.
- Solid understanding of relevant regulations (e.g., pharmaceutical law, advertising law, industry compliance).
- Project management experience.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in standard IT tools, especially presentation software.
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
