In this role, you will lead global manufacturing projects focused on process optimisation, standardisation, technology implementation, and operational excellence. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative manufacturing solutions across multiple international sites.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and experience within regulated manufacturing environments such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, or other GMP-regulated industries. You will be a technically strong project leader who enjoys driving change, solving manufacturing challenges, and working with stakeholders across global organisations.
This role is ideal for a Manufacturing Engineer looking for broader responsibility, international exposure, and the opportunity to influence manufacturing strategy on a global scale. It would particularly suit someone who enjoys balancing hands-on engineering with project leadership and continuous improvement activities.
The Role
- Lead global manufacturing improvement, process innovation, and standardisation projects across multiple sites.
- Drive the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and production processes.
- Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver successful engineering projects.
- Lead validation, verification, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Identify and implement solutions that improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years' experience within Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, or a similar role.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven project management experience, delivering complex engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Can speak English and Dutch (B1/B2 minimum) with willingness to travel internationally (15-20%).
