About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of expanding our client's footprint in the automotive sector. Working closely with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs, you'll manage key accounts and drive new business opportunities in a dynamic, high-growth market.

Key Responsibilities

Key Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform strategy.

New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new clients in the automotive sector.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Lead negotiations and close new deals.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with marketing, R&D, and supply chain teams to align commercial goals.
  • Provide customer insights to support product development.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline data.
  • Deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales or business development within specialty chemicals or a related industry.
  • Strong background in key account management and client relationship building.
  • Knowledge of polyamides and their use in automotive applications.
  • Excellent prospecting and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in French and English; Italian is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel across France and Italy.
