Overview

We are supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation on a large-scale e-Invoicing Transformation Program. The initiative aims to ensure compliance with evolving electronic invoicing and tax regulations across multiple international markets while driving operational efficiency and process standardisation across the organisation.

The business is seeking an experienced Change & Communications Consultant to lead the delivery of change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and training activities across several global work streams.

The successful consultant will play a key role in ensuring business readiness and adoption by developing comprehensive communication strategies, analysing business impacts, and preparing stakeholders for significant process and system changes.

Key Responsibilities

Change Management & Business Readiness

• Conduct stakeholder identification, analysis, and impact assessments across multiple countries and business functions.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder maps and engagement plans.
• Perform detailed Change Impact Assessments (CIA) analysing current and future state processes.
• Support business readiness activities and adoption planning.
• Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs.
• Identify organisational, process, technology, and capability impacts arising from the transformation.

Communications

• Develop and execute comprehensive project communication strategies.
• Create communication plans aligned with project milestones and deployment timelines.
• Draft and distribute project communications including announcements, updates, newsletters, go-live communications, and leadership messaging.
• Develop presentations, FAQs, executive briefings, and project collateral.
• Manage stakeholder communication channels and distribution lists.
• Ensure consistency of messaging across all affected regions and stakeholder groups.

Training & Learning

• Conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA) across impacted user populations.
• Define learning requirements and role-based training strategies.
• Develop training documentation and learning pathways for key users and end-users.
• Support learning readiness and user enablement activities.
• Collaborate with business leads and SMEs to align training content with operational requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with business leaders, project teams, finance functions, and technical stakeholders.
• Engage with country representatives across multiple regions.
• Coordinate change and communication activities across geographically dispersed teams.
• Support leadership alignment and decision-making through effective stakeholder management.

Project Delivery

• Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
• Track and monitor change adoption activities.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting deliverables.
• Deliver change, communication, and training outputs to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required Experience

• 5+ year's experience in Change Management, Organisational Change, Communications, or Business Transformation roles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting global transformation programs.
• Previous experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
• Experience supporting ERP, finance transformation, shared services, digital transformation, or compliance-related projects.
• Proven track record conducting stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, and training needs analyses.
• Experience developing communication strategies and business readiness plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting e-Invoicing, Finance Transformation, Tax Compliance, SAP, S/4HANA, or ERP implementation programs.
• Understanding of international regulatory and compliance environments.
• Exposure to multi-country or global deployment projects.
• Prosci, ACMP, or other Change Management certification preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organisational Development, Change Management, Human Resources, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Master's Degree desirable but not essential.
• Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG, ACMP, or equivalent) highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate is a highly capable Change & Communications professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. They are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-focused messaging, and driving adoption across complex global transformation environments. The consultant should be experienced operating independently while delivering high-quality change, communication, and training outcomes within regulated multinational organisations.
