Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Freelance Project Manager to lead and deliver cross-functional initiatives focused on optimising and scaling manufacturing processes. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on execution, and technical collaboration, with a strong focus on productivity and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Manage full project life-cycle, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business goals.
- Leadership and Steering: Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and operations, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and productivity.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Industrial Engineering on mechanical and industrial engineering topics, including drawing and material specifications.
- Quality and Standards Compliance: Ensure documentation and processes align with ISO 9001 fundamentals.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a central point of coordination between internal departments and external partners.
- Industry Experience: Background in medical devices is helpful.
