Manufacturing Technician
Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a leading medical device manufacturing organisation. This role will support production operations by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production to support daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations within a cleanroom and regulated production environment.
- Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment and production lines.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding activities on manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Support equipment maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Assist with process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, efficiency, and throughput.
- Complete production documentation accurately in accordance with quality system requirements.
- Support validation, qualification, and equipment commissioning activities where required.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, safety, and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and project timelines.
