About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a growing life sciences engineering organisation supporting large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing projects. This role will play a key part in managing procurement activities across complex capital projects, ensuring the timely sourcing of equipment, materials, and services that support critical manufacturing operations.

The position is offered on an initial contract basis with a clear pathway to a permanent role for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities across major engineering and manufacturing projects.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for equipment, materials, and subcontracted services.
- Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external suppliers.
- Ensure procurement activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality expectations.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support category management and strategic sourcing initiatives where required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and project requirements.
- Experience working with contractors on-site and familiarity with AB18
Requirements
- Proven experience within procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Background working in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, engineering, manufacturing, or other highly regulated environments.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation experience.
- Experience managing suppliers across complex project environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Degree qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken, is required, as some work tasks involve Danish written documentation.
