Technical Writer
We have a current opportunity for a Technical Writer on a contract basis. The position will be remote based anywhere in Europe.
Job Description:
Under minimal supervision writes and develops comprehensive user instructions for a variety of products for integration. Instructions must comply with medical device standards and requirements. Audience includes physicians, healthcare and technical staff for a global audience.
- Develop customer facing product instructional information for an entire product-line or series of products according to user needs and regulatory requirements for domestic and international customers.
- Modify legacy product instructional information as prescribed by change management process
- Completes writing assignments according to established guidelines, regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- Interview and collect information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from R&D, RA, various functional areas.
- Consult with graphic designer to obtain instructional graphics/illustrations.
- Write and edit Instructions For Use (IFUs), Quick Start Guides and other accompanying documents aligning content with associated product labels.
- Drive assignments to meet project milestones identified by project managers
- Medical device experience is a must
- Role will be supporting integration of acquisition
- Must be detail oriented
- Would like experience with Arbortext or XML
