About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and customer‑focused Personal Care Sales Manager to drive growth in the French market for our portfolio of cosmetic and personal care ingredients. This is a strategic commercial role within a fast‑moving, innovation‑driven industry, ideal for someone passionate about the beauty and personal care sector and experienced in B2B chemical sales.

You will manage existing customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and act as a trusted technical advisor to formulators, R&D teams, and procurement departments across the personal care industry.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management

  • Grow sales of the personal care ingredient portfolio across France
  • Manage and develop relationships with manufacturers, formulators, brands, and contract manufacturers
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long‑term partnerships
  • Drive territory growth through a structured account‑planning approach

Technical & Commercial Support

  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable ingredients and formulation solutions
  • Provide technical presentations and support product trials
  • Collaborate with supplier‑partners to introduce new technologies to the French market
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments

Sales Strategy & Reporting

  • Build and execute the French sales strategy in alignment with the European commercial roadmap
  • Deliver monthly forecasts, pipeline updates, and visit reports using CRM tools
  • Participate in exhibitions, technical seminars, and key industry events

About You

You will thrive in this role if you combine commercial drive with technical curiosity and a genuine passion for the cosmetics industry.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years sales experience in personal care ingredients, chemicals, or related specialty materials
  • Strong knowledge of the French cosmetics market (formulators, brands, CMOs, trends)
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and drive commercial results
  • Business‑fluent French; professional English required
  • Willingness to travel across France and occasionally within Europe
