Role Overview
You will manage procurement activities for finished goods, active ingredients, and primary packaging materials, ensuring stock levels are optimised and supply flows run smoothly across multiple markets.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop procurement plans based on forecasts and confirmed orders, considering supplier and regulatory requirements
- Review production capacity and demand to adjust purchasing strategies
- Place and track purchase orders, verify delivery documentation, and ensure timely receipt
- Monitor deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and resolve any discrepancies
- Identify potential stock shortages, implement preventive measures, and escalate issues when needed
- Organise supplier review meetings and track agreed actions
- Prepare and share monthly supplier performance reports
- Participate in demand review sessions and implement corrective actions
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as a procurement expert, offering solutions to operational challenges
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar procurement roles.
- Strong ERP knowledge and proficiency in office tools
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
