Responsibilities:
- Lead development of strategic recommendations to help rare disease brands secure optimal market access and navigate reimbursement challenges.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives and serve as the payer marketing specialist across multiple brands and life‑cycle stages.
- Analyze competitive intelligence, access trends, HEOR/RWE needs, and customer insights to inform brand strategy and decision‑making.
- Guide development of strategic and tactical plans, partnering closely with internal account, creative, and cross‑functional teams.
- Support client-facing workshops, scenario planning, annual planning, and strategic discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Develop and review compliant promotional materials in partnership with agency and client teams, ensuring accuracy and alignment with FDA regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendor partners, acting as a trusted subject matter expert.
- Identify data gaps and recommend research needs, secondary data purchases, or primary market research to support access strategy.
- Lead ideation on innovative initiatives and tactical concepts that enhance brand positioning and pull-through.
Preferred Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market access consulting or payer strategy roles.
- Deep expertise in Medicare B/D, buy-and-bill, pricing and contracting, distribution/specialty pharmacy, and healthcare policy.
- Strong background in quantitative and qualitative market research, competitive assessment, and synthesis of payer insights.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with senior decision-makers across medical, marketing, regulatory, legal, and agency teams.
- Experience developing and defending access recommendations, value messaging, and reimbursement strategies.
- Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Comfort working in dynamic, fast‑moving, multi-brand environments.
