Medical Director, Cardiac Electrophysiology
Location: Boston, MA or Minneapolis, MN
EPM Scientific is partnered with a global leader in innovative medical devices, seeking an experienced cardiac electrophysiologist for a strategic Medical Affairs and Patient Safety leadership position to support electrophysiology and structural heart programs across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the organization in engagements with KOLs, investigators, and regulators, as well as at advisory boards, roundtables, and national/international conferences
- Partner with R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to provide medical expertise and inform strategy of cross-functional initiatives
- Provide medical oversight for clinical trials including protocol design, investigator engagement, and data interpretation and dissemination
- Support post-market activities including safety studies, performance assessments, and health risk analyses
- Contribute to evaluation of business development opportunities
- Review scientific, clinical, and promotional materials for accuracy and compliance
Qualifications and Skills:
- MD with active licensure
- Board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- 5+ years in clinical electrophysiology practice, including experience with complex arrhythmias and advanced procedures
- Clinical investigator experience or participation in oversight committees is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with global medical device regulations is strongly preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $240,000-$300,000
- 25% annual target bonus
