A leading medical device manufacturer in Rotterdam is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis. This is a 12-month contract offering the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, GMP-compliant environment focused on quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production and laboratory equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ISO and GMP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Production, and Engineering
- Support equipment qualification, calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance engineering within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and equipment validation protocols
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous
- Freelance availability and registered to operate in the Netherlands
