Job Description:
The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in aligning HR strategies and initiatives with the overall business objectives of the company. As a strategic partner to business leaders and managers, the HR Business Partner provides consultative guidance, support, and expertise in all areas of HR to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management. This role is closely collaborating with other HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Functional Strategy Formation: Contribute to the formation of a key element of HR strategy at a regional/country level through specialist expertise and insights, to ensure that the strategy meets business needs.
- Information and Business Advice: Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions. The role holder will regularly engage with managers (L3 - L4) offering active consulting, coaching, and advise.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organization
- Budgeting: Provide input for HR plans and budgets for the client group within the business or the country.
- HR Data Analytics and Insights: Deliver complex analyses of HR data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
- Change Management: Contributing to organizational change initiatives based on business needs by providing analysis or monitoring progress with guidance from leadership or CoE.
- HR Data Management: Contribute to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or questionnaires in a specific area of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data in line with defined requirements.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Internal Client Relationship Management: Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Mid-level role. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at the local level is typically a mid-career professional who acts as a consultant with a local focus. They possess substantial experience in HR practices and policies, and they collaborate closely with local management to align HR strategies with business goals. Their responsibilities include addressing employee relations, talent management, performance management, and implementing HR initiatives to support the local workforce effectively. Substantial and demonstrated driving strategic projects and initiatives and collaborating with business leaders. Previous experience in HR roles such as HR Manager, HRBP, HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or HR Coordinator is a plus. A solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws is essential. Proficiency in English (B1) is a plus.
