Distribution Planner
Our client an international Life Science company are looking to add a Global Distribution Planner to the team. The company develop life-changing therapeutics that can save lives.
The chosen candidate will be joining a team of Distribution Planners reporting to a Manager. The position is part of the supply chain organization located on-site in the North of the Netherlands.
Position/Department:
The team work with Sales and Customer Service colleagues situated all around the globe. You work closely with our local teams too e.g. Planning & Buying, Quality, Logistics to prioritize urgent orders, manage delays, drive process improvement actions.
The Distribution Planner is responsible for aligning the supply plan with customer demand. You will allocate existing supply and ensure that new production requirements are released to the plant on time.
The ability to navigate complex processes will help you solve problems effectively.
Furthermore, the insights you gather on a daily basis regarding process issues will enable you to identify and initiate process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent practical expertise
- Experience in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle or SAP) etc.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Fluency in English is required
