A reputable, industry leading Pharma company is seeking a Director of Pricing & Contracting individual for the expansion of their Market Access team. This individual will be responsible for leading the development of a future-state operating model for the U.S. Vaccines Pricing & Contracting Team, following last year's redesign to enable end-to-end ownership of the pricing process. This role is responsible for building and implementing streamlined business processes that enhance strategic capabilities, improve efficiency, optimize team resources, and elevate the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document the current operating model, including processes, workflows, governance structures, and forums, to establish a baseline for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement the future-state Pricing & Contracting operating model.
- Develop a centralized knowledge repository to support organizational learning and long-term capability building.
- Support execution of key Market Access initiatives and act as chief of staff to the Head of Pricing & Contracting.
- Identify and evaluate new data sources, tools, and methodologies to adapt to evolving market dynamics and business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees are preferred.
- 8+ Years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, contracting, operation, marketing, account management or types of strategy roles
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- A track record of improving operational processes and enhancing efficiencies through automation and optimization
- Strong coordination skills to bridge strategic planning and operational execution
