Responsibilities
- Full commercial responsibility for the polyamide product portfolio, serving industrial markets such as automotive, electrical & electronics, consumer goods, industrial applications, and advanced engineering plastics.
- Identification, acquisition, and strategic development of new customers and applications, with a strong focus on value‑based selling.
- Management, expansion, and strategic positioning of existing customer accounts, including regional and globally coordinated key accounts.
- Acting as a primary commercial interface for customers, ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal technical capabilities.
- Close collaboration with R&D, application development, production, supply chain, and marketing teams to support product positioning, technical projects, and commercial success.
- Driving new project opportunities, material substitutions, and sustainability‑driven solutions (e.g. lightweighting, recyclability, bio‑based or circular materials).
- Preparation of business cases, forecasts, and margin analysis to support profitable growth.
- Representation of the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer innovation days.
Your Profile
- Degree in polymer science, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a comparable technical discipline.
- Proven experience in technical B2B sales or business development within polyamides, engineering polymers, or specialty materials.
- Strong understanding of polymer applications, customer value chains, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing complex customer relationships in an international environment.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into commercial value propositions.
- Fluent in English; additional European or Asian languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40-50%, depending on customer activity.
- Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated mindset with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Structured and independent working style, combined with strong team collaboration.
- Confident user of CRM tools, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
