Business Development Manager - Boston Territory (Remote)

An international CRO specializing in pre-clinical research services is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Business Development team, focusing on the Boston Area Territory. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with a global team at the forefront of biomedical research.

As a Business Development Representative, you will engage with clients to introduce their innovative products and services. With the support of their technical experts, you will help deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of their clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with existing clients while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Promote our portfolio of products and services, with a focus on preclinical research solutions.
  • Provide market intelligence by sharing insights on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Advocate for the use of genetically engineered mouse models in biomedical research.
  • Represent the organization's core values with professionalism and integrity.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in life sciences is required.
  • Knowledge of preclinical mouse models is highly desirable.
  • Experience in drug discovery, biopharma CROs, and related business development is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors preferred.
  • Background in in vivo pharmacology is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients through exceptional sales skills.
  • Passionate about biomedical research, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
