Associate Director / Director, Pharmacometrics

Location: Fully Remote

Overview: We are currently partnered with a leading CRO seeking a Pharmacometrics Leader specializing in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) to drive modeling and simulation efforts across drug development programs. This individual will play a critical role in shaping quantitative strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-impact insights to support clinical and regulatory decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the scientific lead on PK/PD modeling and simulation projects across drug development programs
  • Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing strategic and technical guidance
  • Design, develop, and execute modeling and simulation strategies to support clinical trial design and decision-making
  • Perform population PK/PD analyses and apply model-informed drug development (MIDD) approaches
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation
  • Contribute to scientific publications and presentations at industry conferences
  • Mentor and provide technical oversight

Qualificications:

  • Ph.D. in pharmacometrics, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, statistics, biomedical engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of industry or postdoctoral experience in pharmacometrics or PK/PD modeling
  • Strong expertise in modeling and simulation tools such as NONMEM, ADAPT, Monolix, or Stan
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, SAS, or Python
  • Experience applying modeling approaches to support drug development and regulatory submissions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate in cross-functional, matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Bayesian modeling approaches
  • Prior client-facing or consulting experience
  • Track record of scientific publications and conference presentations
  • Experience contributing to business development or proposal activities
