Location: Fully Remote
Overview: We are currently partnered with a leading CRO seeking a Pharmacometrics Leader specializing in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) to drive modeling and simulation efforts across drug development programs. This individual will play a critical role in shaping quantitative strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-impact insights to support clinical and regulatory decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the scientific lead on PK/PD modeling and simulation projects across drug development programs
- Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing strategic and technical guidance
- Design, develop, and execute modeling and simulation strategies to support clinical trial design and decision-making
- Perform population PK/PD analyses and apply model-informed drug development (MIDD) approaches
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation
- Contribute to scientific publications and presentations at industry conferences
- Mentor and provide technical oversight
Qualificications:
- Ph.D. in pharmacometrics, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, statistics, biomedical engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of industry or postdoctoral experience in pharmacometrics or PK/PD modeling
- Strong expertise in modeling and simulation tools such as NONMEM, ADAPT, Monolix, or Stan
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, SAS, or Python
- Experience applying modeling approaches to support drug development and regulatory submissions
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate in cross-functional, matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Bayesian modeling approaches
- Prior client-facing or consulting experience
- Track record of scientific publications and conference presentations
- Experience contributing to business development or proposal activities
