Territory: New England
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 + Quarterly Bonus + Excellent Benefits
A rapidly growing specialty pharmaceutical company is seeking a Rare Disease Account Manager to support its expanding commercial presence across the New England region. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to drive territory performance, build key customer relationships, and support strategic commercial initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute quarterly territory business plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, office staff, and key healthcare stakeholders.
- Educate healthcare professionals on treatment options, patient identification, and support services.
- Drive product awareness through virtual and face-to-face customer engagement.
- Collaborate with patient support, market access, and medical affairs teams to optimize customer experience.
- Support marketing initiatives, educational programs, and regional meetings.
- Identify new business opportunities within target accounts.
- Work cross-functionally to support product launches and strategic initiatives.
- Utilize CRM tools and territory analytics to maximize territory performance.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company and industry guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare sales experience.
- Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
- Experience within Allergy & Immunology, Urology, Neuromuscular, or related specialty markets highly desired.
- Rare disease experience is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales objectives.
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple internal teams.
- Self-motivated individual with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
