Position Overview
We are partnering with a growing healthcare communications organization seeking a Senior Vice President, Client Services / Business Development to play a key role in expanding client relationships and driving strategic growth. This opportunity is ideal for an accomplished medical communications leader with a strong network across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and a track record of building long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to generate new revenue opportunities and expand existing partnerships.
- Serve as a strategic consultant to key stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical, and Scientific functions.
- Guide the growth and retention of major accounts through proactive client engagement and long-term planning.
- Lead business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal strategy, and competitive RFP submissions.
- Collaborate with senior management to shape growth initiatives and evaluate new areas of market expansion.
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight for a broad range of medical communications and educational initiatives, such as:
- Scientific advisory meetings
- Peer-to-peer and speaker education programs
- Medical congress support and engagement strategies
- Publication planning and content development
- Thought leader and KOL initiatives
- Scientific and Medical Affairs communications
- Coach and develop client services professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Ensure exceptional client experience through consistent delivery, strategic insight, and strong relationship management.
Ideal Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience within medical communications, medical education, healthcare marketing, healthcare advertising, or related agency settings.
- Demonstrated success building and growing client relationships within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
- Strong business development background with a history of securing and expanding revenue-generating accounts.
- Established network of industry contacts and decision-makers.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and managing client-facing functions at a senior level.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive relationship management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational growth.
- Proven ability to balance account leadership, team development, and new business generation in a fast-paced environment.
