A leading international company in the chemical and manufacturing sector is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join its HR operations team in Ghent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, people-focused environment and wants to make a real impact on employee experience. From the company's EU hub, you will work with colleague across the EMEA region.
What You'll Do:
- Own and optimize payroll processes for Belgian operations
- Manage relationships with external payroll and benefits providers
- Administer and improve employee benefit programs
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in Belgian payroll and benefits
- Strong knowledge of local labour laws and payroll systems
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling confidential data
- Familiarity with parity rules and international payroll exposure is a plus
- Languages: Flemish and English needed
